April 2016 marked the start of the liberalization of Japan's retail electricity market.

In response, the TOKAI Group added electric power to our service lineup, expanding our energy business while further strengthening our comprehensive customer lifestyle services.

We entered a business partnership agreement with the Tokyo Electric Power Company in October 2015 to offer a set menu (TOKAI Smart Plus) that combines TEPCO’s stable and reliable electric power with TOKAI Group’s diverse lifestyle infrastructure services, providing attractive benefits to our customers. By offering packages combining several services, we give customers more freedom, encouraging them to choose us over other companies.
